So, I’ve come to realize that this is a problem… What should I do to keep from picking and tearing at my skin???

well knowing that it’s a problem is a first step! usually the need will help you stop.
for example, I have a few scars on my inner thigh. if I pick them, then I won’t be able to walk comfortably. so I don’t pick them.
Also, I notice that I pick my skin whenever I’m stressed. so being less stresses has really helped me stop.
