It's so hot

Coldest part of winter can be -35°c or colder. We have 100s of lakes in Manitoba. The closest to me is a 20 minute drive.

Holy crap that’s cold.
I thought it was bad here.

Where are you? My son lives in Phoenix and it gets really hot there but it’s a dry heat.

It’s humid as hell here so the feel like temperature is much worse. I am in South Louisiana. You sweat walking to the mailbox here.

I’m not sure where you are if it gets humid. My cousin from Arkansas came out here and she said she would take their temps over ours because our humidity so awful

Apparently Manitoba has the largest span of highest in summer to lowest in winter

You should turn on some AC. I have a portable one that works great for one room.

I used to rent a house that the ac always went out at so I got it from Lowe’s or Home Depot. It wasn’t that expensive. Our ac in our new house works good though and we never have high electric bills.

We’ve also got a lot of humidity out here.

We have run the furnace five times this month. Have yet to turn in the aircon.

Glendale Arizona, right outside of Pheniox… And I’ve lived on Texas and agree that the dry heat is better tham humidity, but its still miserable outside…

Okay. My son actually lives in Mesa. You probably know where that is.

I have lived in El Paso and in 29 Palms California. I like the desert better than the humidity but it’s nice to be around water and I am from here so I tolerate it.

I still own a house in El Paso though. The cost of living is really nice there. If I wouldn’t have had a breakdown and thought I wouldn’t be able to keep up with the house note we wouldn’t have moved and would still be in the desert too.

My wife hates Louisiana but I finally bought a house here too. It’s real nice. Our house in El Paso is nice too.

I wouldn’t have lost the house if we had stayed but I was really bad then.

I had to drive through Phoenix one summer on my way from 29 Palms to El Paso with no AC.

It was miserable. Even in a convertible. It does get unusually hot there.
