It's not your fault, pt.2

My parents (especially my mother) started to accept my muscular dystrophy.

But now my parents are blaming themselves about it. For something that they didn’t have control over.

How do I make them not think that they are to be blamed for my condition? After all, it’s not their fault. They didn’t choose to give me this condition, but why are they blaming themselves for it?

It just makes me so sad. While having my mom on the same page is so amazing, she’s now saying, “Poor daughter, I gave you this condition and it’s my fault.”

Again, it’s not your fault, mom and dad. Seriously.

When you feel suicidal because no matter what you do you’ll never be accepted, or even left alone for that matter.

That’s nice you love your parents so much @anon10648258 good for you for calling them out as great!!
