I make myself walk every night. When I feel uncertain, I think at least I am doing something to make my future better. I consider myselfgetting a little better every time I walk. It gives me a little strength to live my days. I think it’s therapeutic. Especially like the deep breathing and the breeze. If I get a part time job, I would walk up the peak every afternoon.
I enjoy walking, too. Where I live it’s not practical, though, because there are no sidewalks and the ditch is right next to the road where the cars come zooming by. I walk on the treadmill for the exercise but it doesn’t have the same effects as a leisurely outdoor stroll. Glad to hear you are walking and getting out. It is definitely therapeutic and good for the soul, I’d say.
I agree. Walking is for me a sort of spiritual experience. Though lately I’ve felt a lot of pain in my joints that take the joy from it, it still is awesome. Good for the soul, good for the body, good in every way.
