Its mutually beneficial

I ask God for help sometimes but then I think ‘why?’

Why would God want to help me? And what have I ever done for him?

It may sound strange but I think the feeling should be mutual like

Don’t ask what God can do for you but ask what can you do for your God and I think this feeling is mutually beneficial, instead of being the victim you can show strength and courage in the face of adversity,

And once you start to ask that question who knows God could start helping you too

In ways that you would not know

This really helps me think positively about recovery in my own mental health that with the proper care and meds and God I can do anything, take on the world and fight back.

With the right meds, care and encouragement we can lead a good life and I believe this to be true.
