What a horrific tradition ! 
When I was first hospitalized I was in there for Valentine’s day. I was allowed to go outside at that point though.
I went out for a trip to a supermarket / mall with my friend. He bought some flowers for his wife at the mall.
Meanwhile I was having delusions that myself and a woman patient were in some psychic arranged relationship.
I have that delusion a lot about different people, some celebrities. I might have undiagnosed erotomania. I think this Valentine’s Day will suck but provide an important reality check to me.
I don’t have a Valentine

I thought this thread was about Valentine’s Day so I was going to say when you have a partner that you should love like it’s valentine’s every day.

My dad died on the day after, the 15th.
I’ve never really celebrated Valentines Day with a man, I’ve always celebrated it with my kids, I always get them a card and a sweet treat. But I did get my ex-husband Valentines a couple of times, he was kinda into it. But this year I really want a Valentine. Idk why, just do. Maybe it’s because I’ve turned into such a princess and princesses like presents.
I sent Kristen Stewart several message’s and shower pic’s but she seems to be ignoring my advances

I might want to give my mom a Valentine’s card and maybe some chocolates if I visit them around that time.

Im gonna send me nieghbour upstairs one - purely platonic, shes such a sweetheart - and people take the piss outta her cos shes got a learning disabilty - but shes the best neighbour i ever had.
Knowing her tho - she will be looking for the money in the card! lol.
I hope you have a good Valentine’s day no matter what tricks the brain tries to pull. Anyway, this holiday is about selling things and keeping up appearances, imo. Plenty of people not participating every year.
Speaking of selling things on Valentines Day, look what came up when I googled Valentines Day! Tie Dye Unicorn Roses! Anyway I think they are kinda cool!

I was in the psych ward over Valentine’s day when I was pregnant with Little LED. They gave us all a box of those conversation heart candies. That wasn’t a completely terrible hospital stay, though. I got along with a few people there, so it was easier to get through the day.
My GF’s daughter was born on Valentines Day. So we all go out to eat and celebrate both Valentines and her B-Day.
