It's extremely difficult to trust the professionals

To me diagnosis is important not because of insurance purposes my check ups are free and my prescription cost about £8.20 for two months. It’s important to me so I can better manage through reading self help books. I do think I have bipolar but struggle very much with the psychosis schizoaffective label. I know what you’ll say it’s not important so how do I focus my attention away from it

Maybe look for self-help things where it doesn’t matter what you have.

CBT exercises can be found for free online and can help everybody.

Studying nutrition and making sure you’re getting all the micro-nutrients you need (vitamins, minerals, etc) can help anyone’s health, including mental health.

Meditation techniques can help all sorts of people with all sorts of issues.

And so on.
