It's better than last night, but in other places

The low tonight where I am will be about 16 degrees warmer than last night, so things aren’t bad for me, but they’re talking about this “bomb cyclone” that is causing extremely low temperatures in a LOT of places. They’re trying to protect the homeless and other vulnerable people. I donated some money to Doctors Without Borders before I knew how bad things were in the states. I’m debating whether I should donate more money to the Red Cross or some other philanthropic organization. In order to do that I would have to put money in my banking account. I could ask my brother to take me to an ATM. I am kind of short on cash, though, but I could donate something. How are things where you are?

If I had the extra money I would donate to the Salvation Army. They’re a legit charity and your dollar goes very far with them. Plus they’re LGBQT friendly which earns extra respect in my book.

But it’s pretty chilly here too. I think our high today was 19 degree F.

Salvation Army is good. So is the Red Cross. I think the Red Cross is better prepared for this type of emergency.
