It's amazing how much it can feel like something is written for you

I remember reading an article blog or such, thinking that it was written for me. I suppose I was deluded but it felt like there were so many coincidences in the article, linking me to it.

How is that possible?

Is that the power of the mind to make you believe there’s lots of significant coincidences when really there isn’t?

Scary.

Then again we believe what’s happening in our dreams but it isn’t really happening.

Makes me think that psychosis is kind of somehow linked to dreaming in a dysfunctional way.

Hallucinations are awake dreams.

That happened to me with posts on social media I thought they were about me then I did the mistake of reading the comments on the posts and thought they were talking about me. It was all types of posts and comments so most weren’t reassuring for sure.

I was deep in delusions of reference for like 14 years straight. I just knew God was talking to me personally.

Yeah I have those delusions sometimes but I have insight so I just ignore most of time.

I think our abstract minds want to link to our “self” as close as possible. I believe thats one of the reasons that humans always tend to see human faces on different objects or within different patterns. We are always looking for the most familiar self that we can latch onto.
