I saw the movie It’s a Wonderful Life last night, and I cried as usual.
George lost $8,000 and is thinking of taking his life. He says to the Angel “I wish I was never born.” The Angel grants his wish. George gradually comes to realize that he helped more people, and had more friends, than he thought. And it all went away because he was never born.
I think this is good message for all of us. Whether we realize it or not, we’ve helped more people, and have more friends, than we think.
We’re good people, and the world would be much worse if we weren’t in it.
