You may be able to find schizophrenia groups on meetup,com they have groups for lots of things.

My clubhouse has zooms, why not here? we could all be anon anyway and we dont even need to share our video, i could just be like chat like proper conversations, i am sure it could be regulated very easily.
I’m sure you’re just trying to stir the pot.
You know that a zoom with the members here is against the rules.

I’m just asking a question, my clubhouse allows it and they are the same as this group, we all have mental illness. i dont see what harm it can do, maybe this site has trust issues
I sometimes have zoom groups with my 2 sock puppets lefty and righty. If my 2 feet get involved it’s a party!

We already have people worrying about being hacked or tracked. Add in an unmoderated zoom and that would make people even more worried.
We can’t stop people from making plans and talking offsite, but it’s safer for everyone to communicate on site.

Make friends in real life, there is many ways. Church, work, mental health clubs, school, contact previous friends and be friend with their friends (Thats what I did), etc

well i just thought that there should be choice, like i know a lot of people object to it but if it was moderated properly and people were anonymous, it could work, when you use zoom you can use any name you like, and you don’t even need to be on camera, we could watch films, tutorials, art lessons, games, quizzes, raise awareness of certain issues and someone said we have no friends on here but i think a lot of us are friends anyway, it is a support forum after all isn’t it.
It’s not a bad idea, really, @daydreamer . It’s just we have no way to moderate it well enough to let people feel safe.

what if we partnered with a charity that already has them and then they would already be regulated?
This is pretty cool, I think its mostly addiction but it says meetings cover mental health and other things too, idk if its just for the US though.
That would be up to @SzAdmin . But as it stands, we want to keep everyone anonymous and if on a video site someo e would be tempted to show themselves one day and regret it the next. But there’s no way to delete that action like we can delete selfies here.
