It’s actually cheaper to eat healthily – here’s how

Pulses (beans, peas and lentils) are nutritious, cheap and work well in place of meat.

And if you genuinely are not at all keen on pulses? What then? Abuse yourself by forcing yourself to eat something you don’t like?

today at my clubhouse we had a fish curry type thing with boiled egg through it, man it was tasty, never thought it would taste that good and we had a slice of lemon, cost £2 i think sometimes it should be a michelin star restaurant and it makes me think i could cook it myself, just rice, peas, fish and egg. yummy.

fm whats pulses? idk?

If you can grow a garden I think that’s a cheap way to eat.

nice, fm i reckon you could try that curry, could be quite easy, boil some rice boil and add some peas/corn or chick peas and cook some fish the break it up into the rice and serve with a slice of lemon, very good for you and tasty, not sure about adding herbs/spices but you could experiment

I often make rice, beans and a veggie. It’s very cheap and filling too
