Really sucks how do you explain to your kids you can’t see you dad because he abuses mommy?

That’s a really hard situation. I guess it depends on the children’s ages…you could probably be honest with older kids but for younger ones you might have to say something like “Daddy and Mommy just can’t get along when we’re together and we don’t want to upset you” then tell them the truth as they age. I feel for you.

It really sucks and thanks I’m doing the best I can. I never wanted my life like this.
Really sucks I can’t trust him to not hurt his kids.
