It meant a LOT coming from her

Well, earlier this evening I was complaining to my middle sister about my living situation. She was trying to reassure me and she said: Quote: “Don’t worry about them. You’re intelligent, you’re nice, and you’re good company”. It bowled me over. It was such a nice thing to say. From someone who has known me for 53 years, and those are things I want to believe about myself. Now should I believe my sister? OR, should I believe my neighbors who make me feel like I’m nothing?

Get real Nick!
Believe your sister who is telling you the truth. Probably the same truth your neighbors would say if only you’d give them a chance to get to know you better.

I was going for irony there. Of course I would believe my sister over them.

I think that was sarcasm?
But I do think if you allowed those neighbors to see the real you, instead of the one you hope they see, They might just suprize YOU by liking you.
We all know your just a big sweetheart, Nick…":smile::smile:
