It is medications or illness by itself?(sleep, feeling tired)

I won’t lie, during daytime I am active. I go for a walks, do many different kinds of stuff, but I go to sleep very early.
Like 22;00, why I say early…
Before illness I was a night owl. I managed to sleep 5-6 hours per night and felt… quite good? Sometimes I slept like 4 hours during night… And before SZ I was going to sleep at 01:00-03;00
Now I need 9-11 h sleep. It’s literally strange.
And even sometimes during day I want sleep… like an hour rest,
Somehow I believe it’s meds.
Because during psychosis I couldn’t fall asleep at all…because of fear and symptoms.
What do you think? Does your sleep changed after the start of SZ?
Literally what is strange for me - I am 23 y.o. And I am already living like and elder. Need lots of rest, while others go to parties and such. If I go to sleep too late - the other day I feel like walking dead.

It maybe the meds, yeah. A lot of them cause somnolence (day time sleepiness) and drowsiness

I will read if ablify has this daytime sleepiness as an effect

Yes it could be the medication or your overall health

The age at which people start to feel more tired can vary widely from person to person due to factors such as lifestyle, genetics, and overall health. However, many individuals begin to notice a decrease in energy and increased fatigue as they enter their 30s and 40s. This is often attributed to a combination of factors, including changes in metabolism, sleep patterns, and increased responsibilities in work and family life. It’s important to maintain a healthy lifestyle, including regular exercise and a balanced diet, to help manage fatigue as you age. If you’re concerned about your fatigue levels, it’s a good idea to consult with a healthcare professional for personalized advice.

This is what chat gpt said….

But yeah to be more energetic and less tired you have to exercise…
Stop smoking if you smoke… when I not smoke my energy levels rises way better…

Put alarm early in the morning and don’t let yourself sleep, make schedule… this will make you more disciplined and more alert during daytime….

IDK… I believe my health is quite good.

I did all the medical tests not long time ago, and have zero problems. Nor in blood, no problems in overall health. Just several kilograms overweight.

Yeah I do smoke… actually these days I smoke way less, because most of the zones here are for non smokers. I noticed I feel better when I smoke less. Not smoking now actual cigarettes, only “glo”

But yep, no problems in my health. I still have this idea the problem is in meds.
Most people my age even overuse alcohol, cigarettes or sadly even drugs… and has more energy than me.

Yes but you can’t stop meds , so to solve your problem you have to do other stuff like exercising and healthy lifestyle, balanced diet , strict sleep schedule there is no other way to solve this problem I think, life is hard , but when you do what’s hard you feel amazing

Coffee is also can create tiredness, it boost you when you drink for some period of time , and then after it fades away you are hungry for more coffee , and then you are tired again when you don’t drink…. Also drinking plenty of water increases energy and alertness
