I’m afraid to visit South Africa because of all those sharks.
Lots of mountain lions in the state I live.
I currently live in Denmark, which by and large is very safe.
Why is it dangerous?crime? I live in the suburbs. Its fairly safe.
Vancouver has arguably the 2nd or 3rd highest living quality in the world, but it is a socialist country, so it’s only a matter of time before we run out of other people’s money to fund government programs with.
American here, so not really, feels like a different mass shooting every other day. Sometimes I don’t feel safe
I went to college with a girl who used to live in Germany. She said you could walk down the street alone in the middle of the night and be safe.
I’m from America too. Where I live though feels very safe
Where I live is very safe. I used to live in the most dangerous part of my nearby city and as long as I wasn’t stupid I could walk home alone and take the subway at night after work. It also helps that I am a man. My female friends had a lot of problems especially with uber drivers. When I used to live in the south it wasn’t so safe. There were more neighborhoods I wouldn’t go into. A lot of guns down there and racial tensions.
It’s safe here during the day. At night it’s crazytown.
I would freak out if I saw a mountain lion. I heard if they are desperate they will attack adult humans
Live near the sea so the air is clean
Not much danger living in north West uk
Mine is the third more pacific country
Politically no, because we have the neighbouring North Koreans. They always want to eat us somehow…
But regardless they are still Koreans.
I’ve never had any problems in my area. I live in a small town, the nearest city is Nottingham and that is pretty rough. There are lots of professional beggars and lots of shady people.
There really isn’t an unsafe area where I live or in the neighboring capital city. The odds of having something bad happen are slim to none. I really can’t speak for the rest of the country.
Yeah. Getting rid of those guns all those years ago has worked well. Sadly there’s still violence so you never escape it. I’d say I feel pretty safe most areas but there are some rough neighborhoods around.
I’ve live a good amount of my life in the U.S. now. Right now I’d say Mexico is far more dangerous. I still love Mexico. There is almost always a war between drug cartels going on. It has been that way for the past 15 or so years. Some years have been more violent than others. This year has been pretty bad. It has a lot to do with famed druglord Joaquin “El Chapo” Guzman getting caught. It is often said that drug cartels in Mexico are like the Hydra, cut one head off and more grow back. That’s basically what is happening. Due to his capture, many cartels are fighting for territory and profits. The cartel he was head of has infighting going on as well to decide who will be its next leader. There was a report that El Chapo’s compadre Ismael “El Mayo” Zambada has ordered hits on El Chapo’s sons. El Mayo Zambada is also reportedly a billionaire, the only difference is that he stayed away from the limelight so to speak. Many have speculated that he runs things behind the scenes. He is 71 years old but many expect him to prevail as the head of the Sinaloa Cartel.
Anyway, bloody battles happen often in Mexico. Just last month some cartel members burned down a rival cartel’s hangout. Over 23 people died in that bar. They’ve also decapitated people in videos while threatening other cartels. Really crazy things. Just last week a 16 year old kid who had been a hitman since 13 attempted to ambush some rivals (some of whom were police officers) and a gun battle ensued. It was brief and I believe 8 were reported dead. The 16 year old hitman had his head blown off.
I live in the US, a small eural mountain town. I routinely take midnight walks.
East coast US over here. I live in a city where everything is within walking distance. When I was in high school Id stay out all night and walk around. My fear tolerance went down and I’m afraid to walk after sundown
My neighborhood is safe but after Katrina a lot of people moved here from New Orleans and brought a lot of gun violence with them. We have a lot of murders now but fortunately it isn’t near where I live.
There are definitely parts of town you want to avoid though.
