Is there another way

“The psychotic drowns in the same waters in which the mystic swims with delight” - Joseph Campbell What are your thoughts?

I think when I was psychotic I felt a universal oneness. It was amazing at first but then became horrible as everybody was speaking about my problems (hallucinations)

Mystics feel a universal oneness and they enjoy it.

They don’t suffer from it

It can have different interpretations. I really like that quote. Cos it is ambiguous and interesting.

Has the mystic explored and overcame fear, where the psychotic is overcome and drowns in it?
