with drugs do you mean like street drugs or your meds?

you can try to stop meds if you only had one episode and when you stable for a couple years. but you always have to do it with the help of your pdoc.

yea it’s possible if you are stable for a couple years… you can try to taper down then and see how you do. How long you been on meds?

If you’ve been diagnosed with schizophrenia you’ve more than likely had more than one episode(because that’s what the diagnosis calls for), so the answer to your question is probably not. Schizophrenia does not just “end” because you’ve been taking your medication for awhile. It’s generally considered a lifelong condition.

I got it only once i think my twin dont drink alcohol and took risperdal and stopped it without any problems and he live and sleep very well and normal

Have you been diagnosed with some form of psychosis or schizophrenia? Your title and original post suggest you have been diagnosed with schizophrenia. If you have just had one psychosis they can try taking you off meds. If you have schizophrenia, I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but it’s a lifelong condition.

One episode, one psychosis, one breakdown…I don’t know how else to explain it.

I mean i lost sleep only one time in mylife in 2017 iam born 1996 and not recovred yet after alcohol and drugs addiction then took risperdal everything was perfect before

If you had a psychosis brought on by street drugs then there is a likelihood that you can try to get off antipsychotics eventually. If you have Schizophrenia you are likely stuck with antipsychotic drugs for life. We seem to have a language barrier here. The concept is not that complicated.
