Is it unrealistic to be not in pain most if the time

Not even happy, just a lack of emotional distress. Ive becone extremely pessimistic and think pain can only be the majority. Its making me want to die

What mood or state are you in most of the time?

Is being without suffering more often than bad times achievable/realistic?

I think having a “net positive life” is achievable for many with schizophrenia. I hope I can have it myself, it’s not always that way for me.

Maybe it would help to identify exactly what kinda of pain your experiencing and then address them individually.

Does your back hurt? Your teeth? Your head from stress? Bad memories?

Like make a list of all your pains and address them one by one

I think it can be possible to live with the least amount of suffering if you make good decisions. But sometimes â– â– â– â–  happens that causes pain and suffering then you have to find a positive way to deal with it and move on.

Anxiety from constant chatter and thought broadcasting. Without that i wouldnt be in atleast pain that isnt tolerable. I don’t have any physical ailments thankfully

Have you seen your pdoc recently? It took my pdoc tweaking my meds for 9 years before I could get out of my house on my own. Don’t give up!

Ok. But still don’t give up. It took me almost 10 years before I got some relief.

I’m still being followed, but my current med combo makes me feel calm enough to constantly say to myself just ignore it, focus on something else.

It is possible to improve

Usually moderately cheerful. Not so much this week because the upstairs flooring replacement in our home went sideways this past week and a bunch of our furniture got damaged. There will be fallout for the responsible parties.

Other than that, yeah. I’m enjoying life and don’t have any major complaints.

BTW, I do live with constant physical pain because of a spinal injury but I still manage to enjoy myself.
