Is it possible to improve executive functioning through practice?

I was looking on the internet and it seems like there are some mental tasks and exercises to improve executive functioning and working memory. Does these work for anyone? The ones I am trying is to make lists, be out of the box more regularly, and memorize unrelated information for working memory.

My daughter’s executive functioning has improved. She still struggles with it, but over time she’s doing better and better. Baby steps…

I went to cognitive rehabilitation and learned exercises to improve my executive function, concentration, and memory. I’m doing much better now.

If you want to learn more, search for studies on neuroplasticity in adults. We can retrain our brains to a much higher degree than scientists used to think was possible. We can even regrow lost brain cells.

Yes. I’ve been doing this for a quarter century.
