I feel like I’m maybe handling my anxiety a bit better nowadays.
Yes definitely.
I think so. I’m still working on trying to change some of my attitudes and thinking habits. I think it’s do-able
Yes, for sure. I’ve changed a lot in the last decade.
Yes.
Neuroplasticity is a scientific reality.
Neuroplasticity is the brain’s ability to rewire itself
Therefore it’s possible to change
However plasticity decreases as you get older so it’s harder to learn new things. That’s why kids pick up new thinks quicker, like languages, than adults
Learn new things, think about them deeply, and your mindset will probably change on certain things.
Physical strength and ability and a healthy lifestyle is very much happiness. Your mindset will change all on its own.
I’m not stuck inside a personality. I’m a destroyed person. I change.
This nothing but a story with nothing to back it up.
Sure with schizophrenia during episodes in the mental wards it can feel like you got destroyed.
Especially afterwards when you get back to reality you see bleak.
And then the medication can make you handicapped or a shell of your former self.
There is always a path forward. There are many.
You are totally not a destroyed person.
You don’t have to change who you are. You will always be who you always were.
But you need to get traction on the ground again.
And you should not let yourself go when you can be better.
“I’m a destroyed person.” common man.
Oh yes, absolutely.
My world outlook and certain beliefs have definitely changed with my age.
Kinda funny because just like like my father I’ve gotten a lot more liberal.
Usually the opposite happens as you age.
I disagree. I realize people use this phrase a lot but sometimes a person is diminished so terribly that he is a shadow of his former self and a vestige. It happens man, it really truly does.
Yes it is, mine has gone down a little
Yes, mine has changed quite a bit in just the last ten years. All the changes have been for the better as well. I won’t bore you with a list of this and that, but the changes have been real and permanent.
Yes. I am a different person now than I was 5 years ago. Sometimes during life it’s possible to get a life changing revelation.
