Is heart and brain distinction just a metaphor or

is it has a scientific backround for distinction between logic and feelings?

Philosophy is a science for sure.

I’ve an aunt who is really into it and doing post grad.

I’m so not into it because I think it’s a biological brain disorder but it’s still a valid thing.

I think that is what you were asking??

Yeah love is bio chemical.

Sz is bio chemical.

I think it’s all biochemical but my aunt doesn’t. That is the realm of philosophy. What is thought? Where does it start? Where does it end?

Plenty of smarter people than me are into it and been doing it for human existence. It’s a good question so your doing well mentally to think it because it takes some thinking if you get my drift!

In my opinion logic is the evolutionarily hardwired objective experience and emotions are the more subtle “motions”.

Logic is where truth has touched the mind. Emotions are our reactions to it maybe? Not so sure. Both are important though. They make up a large part of the human experience

Or maybe logic is the crystalized structure of the brain and emotions are the method of changing the brain. Logic is more static and unchanging and emotions more dynamic.

Emotions are meant to be used as a method of bringing the mind back to logic. A repair mechanism perhaps to restore equilibrium in the brain.

For example when neurochemicals build up in the brain we cry and many neurochemicals are released through crying, which brings harmony and homeostasis back to the brain/mind.
