Condoning bad behavior only encourages it. Even if it’s bad, the instigator gets the idea that he’s done nothing wrong. I don’t believe in harsh punishment, but people need to be told with a firm voice when they’ve done something wrong.
What I don’t like is when a politician or some one famous does something that insults people and everyone wants an apology. So the guy finally gets up + makes one. An apology isn’t something you do because people ask of you and you think your career will be damaged without one. It’s something you offer on your own because you’ve searched yourself and feel the need to apologize.
