Meds wont take care of everything for me. Forcing myself to do things forms habits. These habits take over the habits of believing Schizophrenic thoughts. Achieving things more then believing things in a way.

Forcefully controlling your thoughts are not possible that’s why we are taking medicine. (It’s antipsychotics)

I cannot forcibly control my thoughts, but I can try to silence my mind completely, which is akin to mindfulness. I notice this often helps with my symptoms, but is really hard to maintain.

It wears me down having to cancel the same thought that popped up subconsciously over and over again.

Another thing that helps is to remind myself to reform my internal dialogue to something mature, so I force myself to go through the motions, even if it doesn’t help me in the present, it might help in the future.

Is what I do and leave the rest to subconscious mind who will correct it from unconscious. Like how dolfin have sonar :face_with_monocle: :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:
