No matter what I’ve ever been told whether it be sz , sza or bipolar I’ve been in denial the whole time. If they say I have sz, I think I have bipolar. If they think I have bipolar I think I have sz. If they say sza I think I have sz or bipolar. I wish this confusion would go away.

I think a subset of sz have anosognosia.
I would trust your doctor. They are the experts and have insights based on experience we don’t have.

Yes I get this denial too. Especially in my well patches when I am tempted to stop meds.
