Is better to be mature or be a child

Is it better to be mature……or is it better to have fun, and be younger? Is it better to be old and have fun at the same time? Is it better to be young and have fun at the same time?

You have more fun when you are younger, but is it better to be mature and have less fun? I would rather be mature and have less fun.

You can have fun at any age :sunny::sunny:

I have been banned from several Walmart stores this year when they caught me sticking googly eyes on stuff. I have zero regrets.

I definitely am not afraid to embrace my inner child within the privacy of my own living space but out on the street I am as mature as mature can be.

Tbh I don’t want to live till 90 when the high point of your day is luckily making it to the bathroom on time.

Wow, I’m surprised they didn’t criminally charge you.
They would have pressed charges here in the States.

For maybe defacing property?

I am not sure.

If I make it to that age but can’t make it to a bathroom, well, I’ll be in long-term care so the cleanup in aisle three is someone else’s problem!

I think @shutterbug is nibbling your ankle a bit. Hit him on the snout with a rolled up newspaper and he will retreat back under the couch.

Not nibbling…

I use funtac as the adhesive. They come off without leaving a mark. It could be fun to go to court over, actually.

I’ve heard people howling with laughter while I’m still in the store after I’ve eye bombed the produce section. I can’t make amends to most of the people I made miserable when I drank, but I can make that amend going forward in my sobriety by bringing laughter to others instead. It’s worth getting some waggy finger once in a while.

Yeah I don’t know how happy I’d be if I came across googly eyed produce but as long as it brings you joy then more power to you

The war on despair is bound to have some civilian casualties.

Seriously, you’re supposed to wash the produce before you eat it anyhow, so no harm no foul. Funtac is non-toxic because it’s used in places like preschools to hold up posters. A kid could eat a package of it and wouldn’t have problems other than a weird bowel movement. I looked it up to make sure I wouldn’t make someone sick before I started doing this:

People should have fun be themselves their whole lives.

Telling people they should dress or behave or own a home at a certain age is ageism.

If someone wants to be old and cranky, that’s their problem.

I wish I can have fun.

My idea of fun is being left alone.

The problem is learning how to have fun as it you get older
But personally I want to be a child again, life was easier and I felt down to earth

I elect to be “mature” haha and F U N !!! Somebody once said “Youth is wasted on the young”. I concur.

Those aren’t mutually exclusive. To me, childishness implies vulnerability, and maturity being independent and secure. Neither relate to “having fun”.
