We dropped off a load of groceries for the kid while we were in the city with her. Cost twice what it should have. All the people who are saying there’s only 8% inflation can bite me. It’s 100% over last year. At least. A $1.50 (last fall) loaf of bread is now $4.00. That’s not 8% over a year. Asses.

Edit. How the @#$% are people on fixed incomes supposed to cope?!?

Went to a few Halloween parties growing up— got to dress up and hang out with peeps. Was pretty cool :sweat_smile:.

I think my favorite part of the parties was when the parents would shut the lights off so it was pitch black, and they would pass around these bowls of stuff and you had to stick your hand in and touch what was in there.

They’d be all like, “…and this one is filled with the hair of a witch” or something like that, and the bowl would be filled with cold and slimy wet spaghetti.

I think the brains were Jello and eyeballs were peeled grapes.

Looking back on it now, it was probs a tremendous waste of food. But at the time, it was a lot of fun and also very gross :sweat_smile:.

…Could defos do without hearing Monster Mash ever again, though :face_vomiting: :sweat_smile:.

I remember a Halloween on the local radio, i had to quit my job cause i couldn’t cope. Shouldn’t listen to the radio at work.:eye:

I sort of pig out a lot regardless of holidays but I will be taking advantage of everyone elses’ appetite that day, by delivering food for people :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:
