Invega Sustenna. Miracle schizophrenia cure?

Took the 100mg… I’ll ask for 256 or 156 next time

So it didn’t get rid of all the voices?

Must have been a negative side effect. Sorry

The only negative side effect I got from Invega was leg muscle pain, but got meds to counteract it

I’m on clozapine and it seems to work the best

I’ve been on invega 234mg for 3 years and abilify 5mg for a week.
I’m close of getting rid of the voices completely, but I have to stay away from stimulants.
May have to raise abilify for 10mg to get rid of thought broadcasting completely. The inner voices are quiet now with abilify.

Hi, I just started Invega Systemma and used it 5 months now. It seems to be helping quite a bit. it took about 3 or 4 injections ofit. Im only on the 2nd weakest dose (75 mg). it costs me $6.60 for each injection. My psychatrist (sorry my spelling is very bad) seems to think it might be enough. I dont often hear voices

(im also on solian 400mg x 3 a day, Brintellix 1 in the morning, epilim 400 mg x 3 a day. so i rattle hehe.)

Im very sensitive to the effects of these drugs. I feel quite “normal” most of the time, although sometimes i feel aggressive or depressed.

Ive been on medicine since i was 20 yrs old, im now 39.

8th year of diagnosis? I was under the impression these symptoms never really went away. I was diagnosed at 21, (2002) and Im still taking tablets and injections now (2021). My diagnosed condition is schizoaffective disorder. so I take an antidepressant, an antipsychotic, and a mood stabiliser. I would still suffer all the symptoms of schizophrenia, but also of bipolar and major depression. At the moment Im mostly symptom free.

For Clarification on price: In Australia, we have a socialised health care system where the govt picks up MOST of the bill MOST of the time.

And because the severity of my condition, i dont work. So the aus govt gave me a pension card which makes me eligible for a whole range of free or discounted (like medicine) services. So i only pay $6.60 for all my medicine. If you dont have a healthcare card the price for “general” medicine’ is about max $40.

shame they don’t give me pension.im now wales.very bad here.they me I don’t have enough points.even with problems I got.im 40 years old.my pain is in all my body, they still don’t believe me.

@oulabi same… Before Invega, I use to think medicine never helped with symptoms… I just regret/hate that my doc never gave me Invega or that vilify drug the first time I walked in for a psych… Gave me zyprexia instead and left me thinking medicine can’t help :angry::angry: he could have saved me 8 years of nothingness and madness if he had just given me Invega Sustenna… Feel so bad over it, could have finished my university/could have been working… Instead I was left thinking medication can’t help. And the worst part, I had to personally ask for Invega Sustenna to get it; and to make it worse, he’s like telling the nurse, “if he can afford it”. :face_with_symbols_over_mouth: 8 years ago, I could have afforded it even if it cost $2,000 a month … Bloody annoying, so much time wasted. But am just glad I get some form of fresh start without those annoying voices. Was having a rough week, but things are back to normal and the drugs working perfectly

sorry I meant to say nsw Sydney.thats
where I live.

I wish these side effects go away but they don’t.im on solian, amuilspride.
