So… job interviews… I’ve had two so far. Didn’t get either of them because I didn’t have an excuse for the time off in between jobs. I have another interview Monday and I am scared I won’t get this one either for not knowing what to say. I’ve been refraining from bringing up my mental illness as an excuse because I feel like a lot of people wouldn’t understand.
What do I say if they ask about breaks in work history? Just tell them about my schizophrenia?
I heard employers get tax breaks for disabled people. Maybe it will help you. Maybe you need accommodations.
I have a job coach and I was told to flat out lie to them and tell them that you were taking care of family

Your better off just saying you worked at your last job all that time. They hardly ever check that stuff, unless it’s a corporate more serious job.
maybe tell them you took time off to visit a friend in another country or time off to travel
