@therealbec put me on this idea that at one point In creativity your ear or eye for this creative endeavor will improve rapidly while your ability will seem not so good because your ability at listening or seeing will improve and you will have higher expectations for yourself.

Well recently when I’m making music my “ear” for it has improved rapidly. This allows me to make changes better in my craft because I understand what I’m doing wrong better
Well every song I make recently I’m like “this is the best I’ve ever made…on further listening…I know exactly what’s wrong with it and I can do better next time”
But in ways I am improving my ability and my song writing rapidly like never before. I’d like to be better before I take it to open mics but I’m getting there I think.
