I’m all for beating up on Ozempic. It definitely is not all its cracked up to be. But isnt one person that seemed to go psychotic with the combination of these 2 drugs a bit thin evidence of any connection?
It’s like I had a ham and cheese sandwich last night and then couldnt sleep. Is this proof that ham and cheese sandwiches cause insomnia?
Ozempic was terrible for me as well.
There is the other one (I think Zepbound), which causes even more weight loss, which has lesser side effects.
I haven’t tried it, but have you?
I am on the Mounjaro (which is Zepbound, too) on a 5mg per week dose. When i took the 7.5mg dose for a couple of weeks i had some increased delusions about being a genetically modified organism. They decreased the dose and that went away…that was back last Fall when i was still on clozapine. The Mounjaro hasn’t affected my weight too much since i switched to it from Saxenda, but it brought my Hba1c from 5.3 to 4.6, so it def helped my blood sugars.
Antipsychotics are unbelievable medications. Even these weight loss medications cannot neutralize their effects.
My sister is on it for diabetes she says the same thing even tho she lost weight she couldn’t hold down meat or cheese she almost went vegan to try to stop the vomiting she said veganism is too hard and she went back to smaller portions of meat vegetables and potatoes yeah and the worst part is she will never be able to get off of it since it’s not for weight loss
true. cause u cant even say if it was the ozempic or the geodon. i lost my mind and fought the cops on geodon. idk if its just cause its a weak drug or if it was cause i didnt eat enough with it to work but it seemed to do nothing. and i had a psychiatrist tell me “geodon doesnt work”. it coulda been the geodon. and maybe the person didnt eat the 1000 calories they were supposed to with it.
I don’t lose weight on Ozempic but I am currently on Mounjaro and I am definitely losing weight.
I also have better glucose control on Mounjaro
Overall its more potent than Ozempic
