Inflation inflation

I just paid my cell phone bill and it’s gone up $6 due to “operating costs”. I’m fed up with this crap!

Mine has not gone up a penny since this ultra high inflation started. Maybe switch carriers. Mine is still 15 dollars a month plus tax, prepaid.

It should be easy to switch if your out of contract

I’m thinking about it. I’m sick of this foolishness

I was paying like $75 to $80. Now it’s $86. Verizon Wireless.

Sounds expensive. Is tv included in that price?

No. It’s just 3GB data and phone service. Verizon is high

I know I’m in a different country but to me that’s rip off.

I have 5GB of data. Unlimited calls and text throughout Europe for 15€ a month.

@Bowens seems to pay the same as me and he’s in the states.

Yeah I get texts too. Phone texts unlimited. It’s still too much money though. I also pay $17 for insurance a month for my phone

If you were into saving like @labratmat you would have switched operator’s yesterday!

I just contracted for a new phone at $13 a month for 24 months and phone service for $18 a month. This is with Comcast Xfinity cable company who I already have WiFi service with and streaming TV.

I was paying $50.85/month CAD 25GB (including taxes)

Now I’m paying $52.38/month

Not a huge increase thankfully but still an increase.

Businesses are having to give staff raises, that’s part of it.

That makes sense. I don’t mind paying the working man.

Dang $86 USD sounds like a lot for 3Gigs…maybe it’s time to switch companies. I think my company offers 3 gigs for like 45 bucks and that’s CAD

I’m looking into other companies. I’ve had my same phone number since 2006 so as long as I can keep my number
