Incontinence

Since being on ap I keep dropping a few drops of piss into my boxers while I am awake. It happens unconsciously, I cant control it. I feel like my muscles are partially paralyzed and are weak. Is it the ap or maybe diabetes?

I dont want to use diapers lol

I found these on Mayo Clinic:

  • Being overweight. Extra weight increases pressure on your bladder and surrounding muscles, which weakens them and allows urine to leak out when you cough or sneeze.

  • Some diseases. Neurological disease or diabetes may increase your risk of incontinence.

I dribble but I think it’s my age plus a stressful situation. Occasionally, I will wear a good diaper because I hate feeling wet.(I’m not proud anymore).

Yea thats the word I was looking for. I dont want diapers, I am 31y.o.

These are specifically marketed towards women, but might help. Maybe there is a version with more masculine looks. Otherwise, you dont need a diaper for a couple dribbles. A panty liner is fine. You just have to wear briefs, not boxers, with them.

You should definitely tell your doctor though because they could have a way to help.

Yes. As an alternative, I wear panty liners, too.

I found it funny me when the Dr said dont see my face until next year.

I leak when I cough or sneeze. I always wear a pad because I don’t like to be wet.

I have incontinence from clozapine. It’s awful. Makes me want to change meds. I always have to wear something night and day.

Probably he meant “unless something comes up.” Doctors here generally only see you once a year unless you have an issue.

I have a constant urge to pee all the time and I have post micturition dribble which means I always leak after peeing. I’m 36 in Nov and I think its down to being on meds.

I’ve been on several AP’s for almost 18 years and have had diabetes for over 10 years.

I don’t have any incontinence problems although during my olanzapine withdrawal I was peeing a lot for some reason.

I get not wanting to wear diapers but it might be better than peeing yourself.
