Has anyone here been in jail?
I was in jail for four days in September 2015. They only let me out of my cell once a day to see a nurse. They wouldn’t give me anything to read so I just slept the whole time. It really sucked! The food was ■■■■ too.
I was in a youth offenders institute for a month
It was the hospital wing of the institution
My original sentence was 12 months, but the Crown Court judge overturned my sentence and let me out on appeal - with the condition I stop taking drugs
Was my first type of hospitalisation
Not ideal, but I turned my life around from being an addict
Shame that all this stuff prevented me from joining the Army

I was prosecuted whilst I was in psychosis. They dropped the case in the end
I think it’s a good idea to avoid talking about past criminal activity and resulting incarceration. I think it’s important to recognize that mistakes are made in our pasts. But more importantly you’ve served your time, moved from the past, and doesn’t reflect who you are now.
