Incapable of working?

I feel incapable of working because I cannto for the life of me hold down a job. Last job I held for two years then started getting paranoid and hten I had to leave. I am worried it will happen again… Got an interview coming up next week and I am nervous and don’t feel worthy.

I wish you good luck with your interview. I Hope it turns out to be the right job for you.
I worked 1,5 years in a library and loved it, but I had to quit it due to paranoia, so I kind of know how you feel.

I always gotta find the right fit,

otherwise I won’t stay.

Phil says there is no perfect job.

I suppose.

Good luck on your interview. There is no way to know if you can hold down a job unless you try so I commend you for trying.

Good luck @Milly. I’m kind of in the same boat. I hope you find somewhere that suits you.

I also feel incapacitated but here they try to ‘activate’ the disabled. So, maybe they’ll try to activate me at some point. Sometimes I worry about that. But good luck with the interview!

2 years is quite a feat. Even normies hop jobs every couple years.
I’ve been at mine for almost 3 months

Good luck @Milly. 2 years at one job is an accomplishment to be proud of – my jobs usually last like a month.

Two years is holding down a job. That’s a long time. Now you just got to build on that.

Work is stress for me because although I work hard I get paranoid. The other side of the equation is disability. I do that well. I get enough money in that I don’t have to work and still live a good life. Still…it’s different from most people I know…

Like I volunteer at the cricket club and that is fine. Two to three half days a week. It gets me out of the house and makes me socialise with others…I think if your on disability it’s good to still mix however you can with society…family helps. Friends helps. Partners help…

It’s still a big decsion but with family support it’s another option…

They have ‘re-integration trajectories’ that try to assess if there is a way to get you back to the labor market. Moreover, as of next year there will be activation coaches who solely have as goal to get the long-term ill back to work.
