Inappropriate emotions and laugh

@pr21 @LilyoftheValley Its easier to say it than doing it. I have tried for a very long time and its impossible to do better, its psychiatric, not psychological, and needs meds.

When you do a needed thing after a period of time like bath after 1 week or some other like cleaning something etc do you some time get thought that ‘I could have done it much before if tried?’. If yes then the fact is you can do it if try. Waiting for emotion, motivation to come to do needed things is deadly. In psychosis, paranoia etc emotion there for negative, bad things. Here too if follow with emotion its even more deadly. So the best way is to not rely on emotions or motivation instead think logically and follow the facts. Do the needed things whether get motivation or not. Also emotions and motivation can come if first start doing it. Can’t expect it to come first, this is why people feel motivated after they start exercising, start some activity etc.

Before my sz I was going to the gym twice, bath once and study everyday. I also hanged out with friends, did work the weekend and did hobbies such as building computers for me and friends/family and enjoyed video games.
Now not only I don’t have motivation, I never have pleasure from anything I do.

I was so desperate when my sz started that I tried suicide many times. Once I was very close to die emergency drs said.

You can do everything you did before if try. Its true you not feel so to do nor get any pleasure from it but its possible to do. We need to make use of schedules, habit etc to do so. Thoughts like whats the point in doing so etc come but simply stick with the schedule, habit.

As a first step try bathing at least once every two days. Do this for two weeks, no need to think any further. Now set a goal to do it for two weeks. Firstly we need to develop the habit and after that habit helps us to do it.
