I wonder how many will read it, knowing the reward for reading it is only knowledge!
This sounds like me. There are so many things I could do that lead to positive results but the effort and motivation needed seem to outweigh the positives. I do bits of things and then I get bored or tired of the effort. I might have ADHD though.
I’m feeling like that about doing physical activity… Is the stress of the effort worth the reward of the physical activity?

It’s partly due to akinesia, or difficulty in initiating any physical movement.
I came up with a solution for this, and that is to dance vigorously on the spot for 5 minutes a day. Within a couple of days of doing this it becomes almost effortless to initiate movement. I reckon it’s to do with stimulation of the muscle receptors that connect with the nerves, as detailed in this video. (6 minute clip).
