I'm worried that my paintings will expose my identity

I am looking for children’s illustrator jobs right now and I’m worried that my paintings will expose my identity. I’m worried that my employers will know that I have psychosis.

They might expose me and humiliate me.

I’m so scared and I’m worried that I’ll defame my parents and my family.

These seems like a pretty clear cut case of paranoia, why are you so sure your art is going to get associated with you? Are you a very popular artist in a children’s book genre?

@anon10648258 Are you concerned about the pictures of your paintings that you posted on the forum? You can always flag those posts and request deletion.

Yes, that’s what I was trying to say. I love sharing my art on the forum but my art style is very easy to spot.

You could always post your art briefly and then flag to request deletion after a while.

I think you are being irrational. Even if you posted something with 1:1 likeness, would they really bother digging through the web to find it and then not hire you/fire you? I don’t think so.

If you wanted to prevent this, you could leave a link here to somewhere like https://imgur.com/ where the picture is actually hosted. That way if they did a reverse image search it would go back to imgur and not here.
