lol. he’s just this noted talent evaluator, stat analyst guy in professional baseball.
he got in trouble in the media and with the players yesterday for basically saying that the players were not any more important to the game than the beer vendors…or something like that.

yeah salaries in sports kind of triggers me. I love sports but I have to turn the game off with these ridiculous salaries compared to the average American or even above average American. I don’t think they’re more valuable than a doctor for example but the average pay for baseball players across the league last year was like 3 million dollars.

Bench players can have over $50 million contracts these days. Good for them. In the leagues where the players get paid the most usually have the best players. I know you don’t like that, but it usually means more viewers.

we’ll see if it can sustain itself. I kind of see American pro sports being in a bubble. maybe your right and im wrong. I don’t think sports appreciates our culture much even though I like it. I had to laugh when I saw that Bryce harper had allegedly turned down 300 million from the nationals yesterday. last free agent period in baseball saw a reduction in salaries, who’s going to pay him more?
