I did 6 hours today smokefree so far, will it get easier?
Hardest for me is after a big meal
After meals, with coffee or beverages or drinks etc.
It is so addictive. I can’t quit
Could you go 30 minutes without?
Yes of course.
You?
It usually gets hard after just a day or two. If you can make it a week id say you got a good chance
Tbh i was smoking every 15 normally but now im doing 6+ hrs without, its kinda not as bad as i thought
I psych myself up for it, try to not have too much stress
They say 3 days to get over the worst of the physical addiction. The social things and habits are harder t to let go of.
I quit 5 years ago. It took months before it got easier. Now it even doesn’t bother me when someone is smoking next to me.
Im determined and ive never come this close to quitting before, i have to do it i just have to
Yes! It gets easier! I hit 2 months smoke-free tomorrow! The patch helped me tremendously, but ive been off of them for 2 weeks now. Big meals, when i get overwhelmed at home, or when someone calls me (i know, weird) i still get small cravings. Ive tried quitting every few years for the past 25 years of smoking. But thia time i Really Wanted it. I dont want my kids to have a mother who smokes. For so many reasons. Good luck my friend!! You can do this!!
Thanks so much congratulations
2 months is great!!!
It took me a long time to break the hand-to-mouth habit.
I stopped smoking regular cigarettes first (in 2013), and I would use a vape with a high percent nicotine for three months. Then every few months I would step down the strength of nicotine in the vape juice. I did this until I was smoking 0% nicotine, until I was finally ready to put down the vape.
So I broke my physical dependency on the nicotine/drug first, and then I broke my hand-to-mouth part of the addiction.
It’s been YEARS.
Good luck to you –
