I'm starting to truly think this is more often than not real

Stuff such as benevolent and malevolent spirits, some of the delusions we have. The Buddha talked about demons and Jesus exorcised some people. Maybe it’s real to some degree, however humans have strayed away from the spirit side of things. It’s worth some thought.

Scratch that I don’t want this to be real.

See a good doctor, get a diagnosis and a treatment program which will include meds and in no time, you’ll be able to move forward without issue.

It’s not a spiritual problem. It’s a chemical unbalance in your brain.

Regardless of what it is the meds.take it away. It does seem that we are pulled or incouraged to do things that are of a negative or dark nature. Things that would destroy our lives if we follow those things we are compelled to follow. From what seems to be an outside source. To me this is really strange and does seem a little spiritual . I don’t think it is all bad to seek the goodness and shun what is evil . To know that God is all loving and all good and would not ask of us anything of evil or anything to harm anyone or ourselves. But regardless it’s only real to us and others seem to not be involved. So no matter what you think and how you approach it the meds work. I have found prayer to be helpful in my battles with delusions.

Yeah I’m back on meds, they haven’t taken away the delusions completely though so I might have to switch again. I tend to think a lot about the spiritual after finding Buddhism, it helps, but also makes the problems more real.

Thanks for your replies, I’ll talk to my doctors about it.

I agree that it is likely delusions but I, personally, don’t believe in demons or spirits. Probably equally delusional, I believe in a Collective Conscious which binds us all, including after death. That, to me, is what “God” is and it is pure love. Nothing negative at all.
