They all have horrible side effects and withdrawals and even though they fix something they cause another problem in a different part of the body.
It’s considered the lesser of two evils.
drugs have side effects. you have to heal the underlying cause, but meds are a crutch. If you broke your leg you wouldnt say “im not going to use a crutch, crutches dont heal the underlyding illness”. You use the crutch until you can heal the illness. Then one day you can do away with it. But to just throw away your crutch is gonna put you in a world of hurt and delay healing without doubt.
Same man… I’ve come to the conclusion that I want to be on as few drugs as possible. So even if I need a crutch for something I’m gonna try hard to deal with it Naturally. I’m on like 5 different drugs and it’s too much. As soon as I can I’m coming down on as much as I can …
Unless it’s a chronic condition like insulin dependent diabetes or schizophrenia. In which case the goal is to manage your illness so you need the minimum of drugs or that you are as stable as possible on said drugs.
Meds have a lot of unwanted side effects but they become necessary
yea not saying every illness is 100% curable but ill take 50% better over nothing. Maybe one cant do away with meds 100% in their lifetime but they can significantly reduce them if they focus on improving their health.
They had no meds before the 1950s, way more suffering imo
