Do you know how long it takes the prolactin levels to lower once ability is added?
Abilify is a good medication,took it for many years.Its side effect is least compared to other antipsychotic.The only issue I had is restless leg which is not an issue for me at all
Im doing good on the abilify other than a bit more energy than normal experiening no side effects. Next step is to raise the abilify and lower the risperidone hoping that goes well

Be cautious, abilify seems to work for everybody at first and then stop working. Abilify also not as effective as risperidone. I can’t imagine how 1.5 mg risperidone gets your prolactin high, when I lowered my dose to 2 mg I had normal libido and actually lost a lot of weight. 1.5mg risperidone is a therapeutic dose.
Did not work for me. Clozapine does the job for me.
So thursday see my pdoc and we lower to 1.5mg risperidone and increase to 1mg abilify wonder how this will be
