Im noticing risperdal is giving me emotional repeats

Its usually anger repeating itself for no reason every other hour. Its been happening for the last 5 months.
What are some medications i can try switching?

Things to bring up with your treatment team. We are users and not prescribers. You need to hook up with your doctor and work out these issues. It’s far from an exact science. It really is and we all react differently to different meds.

Welp
Turns out the doctor gave me another medication to treat my repetitive emotions.
He prescribed me Depakote.
It looks like in the search forum Depakote isn’t a common medication. Not much results.

I think @Wave is on it. It’s a mood stabiliser.

Yes Depakote has been a lifesaver for me it’s an anticonvulsant mood stabilizer and is usually very effective at controlling cycling moods.

I’m starting to get repetitive anger
I’ve been on risperdal for 3 years but this year I’m noticing these repetitive emotions

Apparently your pdoc thinks your mood is cycling in and out of anger mood states @Noop_12. And that’s why they ordered Depakote which is a mood stabilizer.

The Risperdal is probably not causing it.
