My pdoc thinks I have a physical vs mental problem. Maybe a month ago the earliest appointment I could get with urology was May 26. I would like to see a urologist first to rule in or out low testosterone before I see my primary care physician on May 4th. She referred me to urology about my testosterone. I going to try again first thing Monday morning. I’m praying they have a cancellation. This feeling bad is getting old.
Ask them to add your name to the cancellation list. That way they can call you if an appointment comes up. Keep your May 26 appointment just in case they can’t get you in any earlier.
Thanks Moonbeam. Good advice. At this point I’ll take anything they got.
I hate how long it takes to get in with some specialists. I have an appointment with a geneticist in August that I’ve been waiting 2 years for.
Wow. Two years. That’s awful.
I can’t really change the May 4th appointment. It’s for 40 minutes vs the normal 20 minutes. It’s really hard getting a 40 minute appointment. I need a diabetes A1C run.
Are you still on Abilify? 15mg if i remember. The question is why your testosterone low buddy.
It was on the low side back in 2016, and I think it might have gotten worse. I’m going to be 62 May 26, so it may be my age. My pdoc mentioned vitamin D deficiency, thyroid, anemia, and some other things. I was anemic before back in 2012.
I think Anemia you need to eat more Meat, seafood or some type of cholesterol food. About thyroid, this can be cause if you drink alcohol but you can exercise, if you old try those stationary bicycle.
I’m an alcoholic. Just got into the beer Tuesday night after being sober four months.
Its ok to drink alcohol, as an schizophrenic, my secret to stay well or good mentally is going out have fun and have alcohol and smoke cigarette or hit the lottery just to keep the mind at hope. But!.. you need to exercise, that is very important for anyone.
I’m trying. The stationary bike is a good idea. I’m dealing with arthritis now, but I can’t let myself vegetate in the chair or it will get worse.
Arthritis i believe it can be cause by the weight. Try to loose some weight and see, even if you dont loose weight, having sweat from exercise is good for the body, but i hope Abilify will help you loose weight.
Im drunk and i love you, lol ( watching hockey ). Thanks for those Abilify post in the past, i am on it now, lost like 5 lbs but ill get back to exercise when the weather gets better. And still on Olanzapine but they will decrease it this month. Good luck man.
I have been referred to a urologist at a research hospitality my current urologist. I have a condition in my bladder that my urologist has never seen before and he has no idea if or how to treat it. I’m sure it’ll be a long wait to see someone there. I still have to make the appointment. Good luck to you!
