okay, maybe it was a soup can and string, but the rock does make an excellent weather station.
- Put the rock on the ground outside where you can view it from a window.
- if rock has a shadow, it is sunny outside.
- if rock is wet, it’s raining.
- if rock is gone, it’s windy.
