Can’t get unemployment? I’m sorry to hear. I’m also a student and have been denied food stamps for that reason.
Not as a student, no. But we get government student loans, and my parents support me financially, and I have savings, so I can’t really complain. Can’t wait to start earning money, though.

Oh gotcha sounds like you got a security net. I work 22 hours a week and am taking 3 classes that vocational rehab is paying for and living on my own. 
and I can’t get food stamps!!

Wow. You’d think working 22 hours a week would be enough to entitle you to at least some help. Also it should be enough for you to pay your rent and put food on the table. I’m sorry you have to work that hard to continue studying. I hope you do well and get a good job when you’re finished.
