She does it because I can go for months without changing it ,and have difficulty remaking the bed. She does all my washing as she wants me not to be scruffy and dirty. We have a policy- change t shirt and trousers every 3 days, socks and underwear every day. Bedding every week/2 weeks at most.
Maybe you can wash the bedding yourself but let her make the bed.
Tell her you spilled something like coffee on it.

Spill some ketchup or soda on it and wash it yourself. If she sees it she will understand, women go to bed and get their period and things get messed up bad! So you’re not disgusting, just get a tissue next time to avoid this happening.
