I’m still psychotic on 80 mgs of Latuda but I haven’t done anything illegal so there’s that!!!

I still feel like crap though.

Sending all the good vibes I can your way, sir. Hope you find some relief.

Thanks for posting this @Headspark …my pdoc told me ive been on all the APs. I never knew there were as many as you said. When i googled it i get a much smaller list. But anyway thanks for the post. Im going to show it to my pdoc next visit

Not all of them are available in every country, but I doubt you’ve tried ALL of them as your pdoc says.

Tell your pdoc that just because a “stronger” antipsychotic didn’t work doesn’t mean a “weaker” one wont. There are “trends” but you can’t predict these things. All these meds effect everyone differently.

I went from 40mg of Olanzapine(Zyprexa) which is a very high dose of a powerful antipsychotic to 60mg of Lurasidone(Latuda) which is a much lower dose, relatively speaking, of a weaker antipsychotic, and I am doing waaaay better.

Don’t give up, just keep trying them until, hopefully, you find something that works. As you try them give them time to work. Could be as quickly as a few days, could be a few months.

I hope your psychosis subsides soon.

How are you able to manage in the psych unit?

Sorry for my comment.

In the uk we don’t have many options of these.

Not sure where Karl lives how it may be

Hope you find some that work soon!

Okay, I’ll accept your apology but I never saw your comment, lol

I know, I don’t think any country as all of these. I mentioned that in this comment.
