I'm an official employee now

It’s taken me 6 months but I’m finally out of the probationary period at my new job as a delivery driver.

What this means is that I am eligible for some benefits now.

I received an email today on how to setup my expense account and all the stuff I’m allowed to spend it on. There are dozens of things I can spend the money on, probably over 100 different things. I can also put the money into a TFSA or RRSP and just save it for the future, then cash out at a future date. The expense account gets renewed every year.

I also get access to an app called Venngo that offers me a discount on all kinds of different products.

There is also a partial tuition reimbursement program if I care to use it but I don’t plan on going back to University.

The next major milestone doesn’t come for another 18 months at which time I will be eligible for the pension plan.

And I already told you guys about the 5% raise I got last month.

Everything is going good. I’m so happy I landed this job. It’s perfect for me. :package: :package: :package:
